Employee Equipment Agreement Sample

Parties Involved:

Employer: Acme Corporation

Employee: Jane Johnson
Address: 456 Maple Street, Apt. 5B, Metropolis, NY 10009

Description of Equipment:

The employer agrees to provide the employee with the following equipment for work purposes: a laptop (Model XYZ, Serial No. 123456), company phone (Model ABC, Serial No. 654321), and other miscellaneous accessories as listed in Appendix A. The equipment remains the property of the employer.

Use and Maintenance:

The employee agrees to use the equipment solely for work-related activities, to maintain it in good condition, and to follow all usage policies set forth by the employer. The employee shall not modify, lend, or transfer the equipment to third parties without prior written consent.

Return of Equipment:

Upon termination of employment or upon request by the employer, the employee shall return all equipment in good working condition, reasonable wear and tear excepted, within the specified time frame.

Security and Confidentiality:

The employee shall take reasonable precautions to safeguard the equipment and protect company data. Any loss, theft, or damage must be reported immediately to the employer.

Governing Law:

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County.

Additional Provisions:

• The employee shall not install unauthorized software or make modifications to the equipment without approval.
• The employee acknowledges that the equipment is provided for business use only and agrees to abide by all relevant company policies.
• Any incidental damages or loss not covered by insurance shall be the responsibility of the employee if caused by negligence.
